All Me Made: NikkiMade Bag + Wallet & Fit

NikkiMade Virtual Class Review

I started off buying a NikkiMade kit when she dropped the first kit because I was always working during the virtual and live classes (because yes, I will fly out for NikkiMade). At the end of May I finally got to take my first ever NikkiMade virtual class and it did NOT disappoint. The class was hand-dyeing leather and you got to choose from two different styles of bags. I got both and will be making the next one soon. Treasure is an EXCELLENT teacher and she made sure all of her students were successful and understood every step of the process. I love NikkiMade so much that I had to buy BOTH of the kits she recently released. If you want to get your hands on a kit before they are all gone you MUST sign up for the NEWSLETTER here. MODIFICATIONS

I decided to think outside the box and get a different color dye from Tandy leather as the kit came with a choice of tan, brown, or black.

WALLET

I used the Classic Money Clip Wallet kit from Tandy Leather to make my wallet. It came in veg tan leather which is the same as the leather for the bag. I decided to use the same methods taught by Treasure to dye my wallet kit to match my bag. I ended up adding additional dye after sewing it up so it came out slightly darker but I love it.

OUTFIT DEETS

I used MimiG simplicity 8655 for the pants and I self-drafted the top. It is just one long rectangle that can be tied multiple ways. You can use the tutorial for the pants here, super easy to follow along and not miss any steps. Although you can’t see my shoes very much I am wearing my fave Zara heels.
