Met Gala 2018: “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”

The Met Gala is a fundraiser held every year on the first Monday in May. It is held at Metropolitan Museum of Arts in New York City and the gala raises money for their Costume Institute. Each year there is a theme and people like you and I get to sit in the comforts of our homes and judge the celebrities as they walk the carpet in their expensive ass gowns and suits…and even some capes. The meme below pretty sums up what went down on Monday night for some us… hang in there payday is around the way LOL.

: Top Pick: Rihanna had the BEST look hands down! Her look was custom made by John Galliano. This three piece set took about 250 hours to sew and 500 hours to hand sew beading. I am just obsessed with this look! I see why Cardi said “tell RiRi I need a threesome!” lol

: 1st Runner Up: Spicy mami, hot tamale! The designer behind this This Moschino gown was sooooo fitting for Cardi’s pregnant belly! I love how the overskirt adds that dramatic effect which is so Cardi! I would rock it just as a dress.

: 2nd Runner Up: Zendaya looking like the most stunning gladiator ever in her custom Versace! I am loving her accessories that compliment this sexy suit of armor. Her bob really compliments this entire look as well!

: 3rd Runner Up: J Lo rocking the cross on her chest in her custom Balmain gown. This made it into my top four because I LOVE the color scheme. The royal blue, red, gold and black just looks amazing together. I am also a fan of the train and high split because it definitely adds to this look.
