See it, Want it, MADE IT

First, I have to tell you all about what inspired me to make this dress in the first place. I was at a friend’s house this past Wednesday, and although I was just going there to pick something up, my visit turned into a movie night. With that being said we watched some sort of suspense movie that I forgot the title of (**insert shoulder shrug). Then we started to watch Boy Bye (*insert eye roll..for now lol). After about 2/3 of the movie I headed home because it was getting late, but for some reason when I got home I just had to finish the movie. The funny thing is this was not a typical movie I would choose to watch while scrolling through Netflix options. Well, it was MEANT TO BE you guys because in the final 12 minutes of the movie I spotted THE DRESS I had to have (see below)!  The best part about it all was the fact that I had some navy blue jersey knit in my stash that was literally the PERFECT length to try my first attempt at this dress. Although I created the back of my dress differently than the one Wendy Racquel was wearing below, I love everything about mine! I would wear this dress with and without a bralette depending on the occasion- VERSATILITY for the win!

Now time for my take on this amazing dress which I will need in EVERY SINGLE color I can find…well except red maybe…lol
