Shoulders, shoulders and more shoulders! This Spring/Summer off- the shoulder tops and dresses have been the trending fashion. I think it’s safe to say once I made this top I went out and bought a few different patterns with different styles for an off the shoulder look!
So for the top I used Mimi G’s tutorial in her Sew It Academy class found here. Also some of the patterns I have now purchased for the off the shoulder look include: McCall 7543, McCall 7606, Simplicity 8296, Simplicity 8124, and a few others!I came across this fabric in Michael Levine’s Loft in L.A.- which I am surprised I did because I usually get overwhelmed with the boxes and boxes of fabric everywhere that you have to dig through. I will say it was definitely worth the digging because I went home with some pretty amazing fabrics for an even better price!
I decided to style this top with some black skinny jeans from Forever21- which surprisingly fit very nicely. Similar jeans can be found here. The heels are Steve Madden ADDON and they come in different colors here!
Stay Classy and Stylish…until next time!
